"Over-under" procedure

Alternately pass through the overlap (from the top) and the underlap (from the bottom).

The appearance changes depending on whether you start threading from the top or from the bottom.

1: Pass through the first eyelet on the left and right from the front.
2: On both the left and right, from the first eyelet, cross the second eyelet from the back.

3: On both the left and right, cross from the second eyelet to the third eyelet from the front and pass through.
4: On both the left and right, cross from the back to the fourth eyelet from the third eyelet.

5: Cross the top eyelet from the bottom and pass it through.
6: Tie and complete.
